From 1978 to 1983 and then again in the early 1990s, The Embarrassment were the finest rock band the midwest had seen. Hailing from Wichita, Kansas, they released several now essential 45s and 12"s, most of which were compiled on the excellent Bar None double compact disc "Heyday". My Pal God released the authorized Embarrassment bootleg "Blister Pop" on March 26th, 2001. This compact disc is full of twenty live recordings, cover songs and additional unreleased Embarrassment material. We're thrilled! Check out a long and informative feature on The Embarrassment from the Wichita Eagle. Download selections by this artist on iTunes.
